Fiction Award
- "Fan Fic of Fan Fics"

We here at
Shuffle
Alliance have created this award, named after the original Japanese
dialog
term for the Fight winner, "Gundam the Gundams", to better recognize
the
G Gundam community's outstanding fan fiction writers. Much
like actual tournament competitors, the best of the best in writers
strive
to achieve technical quality in their work (spelling, good
grammar,
etc), original plot ideas, and an in-depth understanding of
the
characters (keeping the characters IN CHARACTER). This award
may be given at any time by any member of the site staff.
(Winners
will be listed here to prevent award fraud.)

Fan
Fiction Writer's
Guild
This group
was finally
created when one too many poorly done fics had finally been uploaded in
the G Gundam section of fanfiction.net Anyone may belong to this
guild, whether they read and/or write fan fiction, and as long as they
believe in the following list of "guidelines." (And it can be for
any type of fan fiction ranging from Star Wars to Harry Potter to
Slayers;
it doesn't have to be just for G Gundam fan fic.)
-
I will
plan my story
with care. Spontaneity is good, but a story with no direction and
no purpose results in an empty message.
-
The
characters in my
story are borrowed; I will not twist and bend them so out of character
that they are merely look-a-likes with the same name. I believe
that
the creator of the series/manga/movie/etc took time and effort in
creating
these characters, and I will remain true to the foundations laid in
place.
-
I will not
create senseless
character pairings that ignore the foundations of said
characters. Any non-canon pairings I create will be given a basis
and
careful in story development in order to respect the original
personalities,
beliefs, etc. of the characters in question.
-
I will
proofread my
work, and if necessary, get a beta reader to help me before publishing
my fan fiction online. Good grammar, spelling, punctuation,
formatting,
etc are just as important as a good plot.
-
I will
take the time
to be sure the borrowed characters' names are spelled right, as well as
the names of any borrowed places, vehicles, mecha, important items,
etc.
Spelling names correctly is as important as spelling any other word in
my story correctly.
-
When beta
reading or
reviewing the work of another fan fiction writer, I will give them the
best advice I can in order to help them improve.

set of
various banners you can put up on your own site to show your
support.
We won't be listing sites here, but one way to help is to link the
