Contacting the Webmaster

If you really want to email me, you'll read this entire section. If you ask me about things that are already listed somewhere on the site, your email will be read and then deleted with no reply sent. I get dozens of emails every day, including spam, LJ notifications, etc, and don't have time to reply to those that ask questions that are already addressed on the site.  So please, please PLEASE read the FAQ.  Thank you.

The best way to get into contact with me is through email.  However, keep in mind that the site is no longer accepting submissions of any kind.  As of January 2, 2007, the site will remain online, but will no longer receive updates.  If you have a burning question you simply must ask, email contact is fine, but be sure to read the mini-FAQ below, first.

My current AIM account name is Aestraya, which may or may not be accessible to the public thanks to a few people who saw fit to harass me everytime I dared show my face online.  I tend to toggle the privacy option back and forth depending on how busy things online get.  If you add me to your Buddy List and I never show up, you might want to email me to let me know that you're interested in speaking with me.

I can also be located and contact via my sketch journal at http://www.livejournal.com/users/straya.  If you do not have a Livejournal account of your own, you can leave anonymous comments.  Just please do not spam or your comments will be deleted.

And finally, some Frequently Asked Questions about me before you email or IM:

Q: Are you male or female?
A: Female.

Q: How old are you?
A: My date of birth is May 8th, 1978.  I'll let you do the math.  :)

Q: Do you have a boyfriend?
A: Yes, and he became my fiancé as of April 28, 2006.

Q: Are you still in college?
A: No, I graduated from the Art Institute of Southern California in May of 2001, although I've been thinking of trying for my master's degree at some point in order to teach community college.

Q: Where do you live?
A:  Between 1997 and 2004, I lived in Orange County, California while attending college and just after (prior to that, I had spent my entire life in San Diego).  In 2004, I relocated to Flagstaff, Arizona for two years before moving on to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, which is where I am as of the site's final update.

Q: If I send you money, can you copy your fansubs/VCDs/CDs/DVDs for me?
A: No.  That should be a given.

Q: What other Gundam series have you seen?
A. All of Gundam Wing, Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz, 08th MS Team, 0083: Stardust Memory, Char's Counterattack and Gundam F91.  (I've also seen G-Saviour, but that ALMOST doesn't count as far as I'm concerned.  Heh.)  Also, I have gotten to seen 1/3 of the Mobile Suit Gundam movie trilogy and the five eps of Gundam X.

Things NOT to Email Me About:
(and yes, I have gotten numerous emails about all this before)

1) Name spellings.  If you'd like to know why they're spelled as they are, please see the regular FAQ for more info.

2) The name changes of the gundams for the dub.

3) Putting up whole episodes for download.  If you think this site has enough bandwidth to handle that sort of thing, you're nuts.  O_o  (That, and I don't want to piss off anyone at Bandai, Sunrise, etc.)  I won't email whole eps to you, either...that would put way too much strain on my account.  Please, just go buy the DVDs and support the fandom and the creators properly.  I'm doing it (although slowly because I'm poor), so should you.

4)  The cameo appearances of the Wing, RX-78 and other gundams.  Yes, I know about them.  Yes, I have screen captures.  No, I haven't had a chance to put them up, yet, and at this point, they may never get put up.

5)  Taking over the site responsibilities so it can continue to receive updates.  I only trust a handful of people with access to my hosted account.  The idea that people want to help is appreciated, but I don't have time and energy for all the collaboration it would take to keep things organized.

Read everything here?  Okay.  NOW you may email!
